Thank you Jaden.

Grab is an art base research project. We are working with different kind of organisms and Slime moulds are one of them. Growing principles of Slime Moulds are one of our interest.

On the photo,It is just an agar with water. In one week time contaminetes. Moreoever we have some cultures on coffee filter too. We still had contaminations with them too but after 2/3 weeks . First months we used unsterilized oats too. Even on the coffee filters slimemoulds had infection. Then we started to sterilize the oats. Result didnt change.

Nice glove box. Are you a tissue culture, microbiology or mycology fan?

Is that just water agar you have it on? And I don't think you want complete sterility. Physarum eats the bacteria that grow on the oats, not the oats themselves. I wish I had the source where I read that to link to. Oh well. Try it with unsterilized oats in your next Petri dish. Just my 2 cents.
Good luck!
