What is your interest in slime moulds? (we need to know you're not a bot or spamster): I am currently a Junior in High School (2016) and I am doing a scientific research project on slime mould. Currently, my idea is centered around Slime mold and it’s ability to learn, understand, and respond to stimulation from it’s environment. For my specific project, I want to connect a physarum polycephalum's ability to detect patterns with its optic sensors to see if a slime mould can correlate one form of stimulation to another, and respond as if both were present when only one form is being stimulated.
