Used as a model organism in many areas of scientific research it also makes for a great creative collaborator. In this work shop you will discover the fascinating role this single celled organis m has to play in the cultures of science and art, and design a practic al experiment to test its capabilities and problem-solving skills. Eac h participant will take home a new microbial pet to observe and experi ment with.\nThis workshop is part of a series of art and science hands on workshops I am running with my students.\nMA Art and Science staff and students are offering a range of creative workshops exploring ob servations and experimentations in art and science on Saturday 5 and 1 2 March, at Central Saint Martins.\nCome along and get hands on with s lime mould problem solving, microbial image making, nebula bottling, w ater mapping, microscopy inspired glass sculpting and chemigram making .
