0032 Unidentified corticolous myxomycete from moist chamber culture

Unidentified corticolous myxomycete? Please note the question mark. Some of these plasmodia maybe protoplasmodia or maybe aphaneroplasmodia, which is to say you may never see them, the plasmodia but you will see the fruiting bodies thereof. Now I am not going out on a limb to say that this is indeed a corticolous myxomycete, it may very well also be a fungal fruit body, albeit a very small one but the white markings displayed on what would be the peridium suggest plasmodial remnants, much the same as vale remnants on a basidiocarp or mushroom cap.
