What is your interest in slime moulds? (we need to know you're not a bot or spamster)
Long story. In primary school I once saw slime mold growing in the cracks of a brick sidewalk—probably Fuligo septica, I now guess. Later I bought Physarum rigidum online (from Ye Weijun, a well-known Chinese professional and vendor nicknamed “6”) and kept it alive for about a year until it died for some unknown reason. During junior-high and senior-high I often ran into these organisms in parks or forests, but I never collected any to take home. After entering high school I found a surprising diversity of slime molds on campus. Thanks to the free time I had living on campus, I collected, cultured, observed and studied them extensively. Meanwhile this account also represents a small Chinese amateur group that takes part in international exchanges among enthusiasts.
