What is your interest in slime moulds? (we need to know you're not a bot or spamster)

I live in the temperate rainforest of British Columbia where there are a lot of slime molds, which I enjoy observing. Also I am an artist and amateur scientist who would like to explore the slime mold's computational abilities.
