Lamproderma cf. muscorum 0883

Lamproderma cf. muscorum is a 2 mm high myxomycete that was collected yesterday from a mossy log not far from my home in northern Tasmania. It differs slightly from the similar looking L. echinulatum but microscopic examination of spores and capillitium is required to see the differences.
