After leaving Physarum Polycephalum in a petri dish with agar (i.e. wet conditions) and sealing the chamber as to prevent escape, the slime mold formed sporangia after being starved for a few days.

The mold transformed from its plasmodial stage to (near) fully formed sporangia in under 10 hours.
