"I know, it would be amazing.  But unfortunately people generally don't realize how connected we all are."

"wow, @Evan Brown, that is actually really interesting. How awesome would it be if people would naturally be like that without having to think about it... thank you for your comment"

Is Slime Mould generally friendly?

After seeing a report on CNN and reading it and watching several videos I thought of a question:If one slime mould from let's say for example the USA is "introduced" to a slime mould from another area (continent, country) do they interact together and work as one or do they notice they're from different areas and fight each other? This is not a joke question, I am asking quite serious...See More

What is your interest in slime moulds? (we need to know you're not a bot or spamster)
Hi,
I found out about this through a report on CNN website.
Reason why I am joining this forum is because while watching Ms. Barnett's video on youtube I thought of a question that I would like to ask.

It seems to be 1 organism, one cell that joins together with other cells to form the "slime".
What if one blob of slime is introduced to another blob of slime that might be from a different area or even different country... does it join and work together or would it recognize it's "different" and maybe fight one another?
