Habutated PP choose the easy way

Students in our college habutated PP to grow on an (2,18 gr/l) NaCl agar.

Non habutaded paralel group grew on standard agar.

During the experiment  PP got the opportunity to choose eighter to go over the salt agar or grow against a gradient. Gradient growing cost more enery.

In the small experiment they did the habutated PP grew mostly horizontal over the salt agar, the control group choosed the gradient.
