Hello everyone, I've been growing a plasmodium of P. polycephalum for about one and a half months now. I've got it to a decent size and have been enjoying it a lot so far. But I haven't been able to get it to form sclerotia yet. I tried three times now. My attempts were looking good to my inexperienced eye, but I can't seem to revive them. They just turn into a puddle and start to smell after a day or so. I previously tried drying them quickly, I tried drying them in complete darkness in about 24h on a drying rack. And I tried drying a piece of plasmodium in a petri dish over the course of one week. Yet, I haven't been able to revive any of them. Does anyone have some suggetions on what I could try to do? Looking forward to hearing from you!
