Physarum amoebae in phase contrast. I germinated spores by soaking in water for a week, allowing to dry out and rehydrating. The faint dots in the background are E.coli cells added as prey. This is a still from a a timelapse series I'm preparing of the cells moving around. I'm hoping they'll soon fuse and start maturing into plasmodia.
