The Slime Mould Collective

An international network of/for intelligent organisms

I found this under the bark of a rotten silver birch tree. The blobs are 1.5 to 2mm diameter and there are traces of a slimy 'foot' at the base. I suspect this is a slime mould, but apparently things like this are hard to classify without resorting to microscopy.
