What is your interest in slime moulds? (we need to know you're not a bot or spamster)
I'm determined to see if Amoeba processes are uniquely well suited to represent business processes in a new distributed decision narrative-base of my own design.

My first post briefly explaining what brings me to The Slim Mould Collective

Howdy Folks,

I have a strong interest in The Creeping Garden. Could you please email updates to me? I'm also hoping to ask questions of The Slime Mould Collective.
My name is Gene Goosev. I am a 'fringe' freelance database designer. I'm self-taught, and my career of 28 years has 'computerized' the business processes of many organizations large and small, like Oregon Health Sciences University and a Gearhart, Oregon daycare center.
About 14 years ago, a project I was working on branched off into a private work of curiosity and exploration for myself. I'm concluding with the user-interface, and was awe struck by my visceral recognition that my new business software appears to behave most closely to Slime Molds.
I have no shortage of interfaces to model with as Mathematica does many visualizations, though they all seem inadequate. When I notice structure that I relate instantly to attributes in my software, there is strong reason to believe the details of each will align well with one another.
I no longer call myself a database designer for two reasons. The first reason is my whole life is now spent exclusively working on my own project. The second reason is that I have slowly broken every rule of databases, while changing the sense of the word 'data' so much, I now call myself a data designer.
In turn, my peers also have changed what they call me. Since I was smitten with distributed-decision processing, reversing and flattening the common roles within organizations, and facilitating all and any change of input with zeal and controlled restructuring of the software, I now call it a meta-narrative-base, and named it ProVoke!
It may be the Slime Mold's nature of intelligence fits amoebiod-ly within my model. I likely have more specific questions than anyone has answers, so learning or testing how it works easily justifies spending my limited resources to find out. ProVoke! anticipates great future prospects. If so, I'd love to sponsor work here.
Cheerfully,
Gene Goosev
