What is your interest in slime moulds? (we need to know you're not a bot or spamster): Dear Ms. Barnett,

I am a second year IB Student at Li Po Chun United World College in Hong Kong. I am currently trying to complete my Extended Essay in biology, where I am working with the slime mold physarum polycephalum.

I have unfortunately encountered problems where the mold will not grow. Over the summer, the mold was stored in the fridge, I'm not sure if this would affect the growth of it or not. I have taken pictures and if possible can email them to you in order for you to see what the mold looks like. I was wondering if you could please tell me if the culture that I am using is no longer good or if it is what you would recommend I do in order to get it to grow. The mold is almost brown in color and no longer bright yellow.
