- My consulting business (8 people) is helping people implement a self-organizing governance method called sociocracy. The leading edge of our work is network governance in which existing organizations form networks, becoming virtual super organizations. I'm wondering what I can learn from slime moulds!

Hi John, I teach high school math and have no special knowledge of biology. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide any information on what you are looking for. My special interest is the human nervous system's sensory potential to perceive and give meaning to the communications related to cell to cell communications as happens between biofilms and quorum building. There is connection, metaphor or more, between biofilm quorum building communications and sociocracy. We higher life forms may have lost lost this potential. Maybe some people still, begging the question, have this sensory potential. I appreciate Heather creating a space for my subgroup, where such people can meet and share experiences. I appreciate your introducing me to sociocracy.
