What is your interest in slime moulds? (we need to know you're not a bot or spamster)
Growing up very rural, the natural world is always my first and best home. I met my first slimes in 1996 when I began doing fungal inventories on the small island (35 sq. k - less than 200 people in the winter) where I live now. A few years back I finished my inventory project and moved from fungi to myxos and am now completely hooked on the little critters.

Most of my collections are from the woods and trails by my house. My goal is always to photograph them as they mature - always hoping to catch them very young so I can document the entire process.

And when they are mature, I collect some and take them home to ID. I have collected about 50 different species in so far.

I've just started uploading them to INaturalist - my name is pamjanszen - I'm up to #11 right now. Feedback always welcome!
