The days are slowly getting warmer after an unusually cold winter in Tasmania this year. In fact, it was warm and sunny enough last Sunday for a tiger snake to be sunning itself on the track on the way to the large bryophyte-covered eucalypt stump from which I collected this Elaeomyxa cerifera.
