Using an aquarium heater (100w) in a 50l plastic tub was a disaster - condensation, puddles of water, stinks and doesn't heat the box.

The mk 2 - reptile heating pad ( 50w) sandwiched between a slab of aluminum and block of plaster of Paris drilled to fit a thermostat probe. Cheap plug in thermostat socket . Set to 30C its maintaining the box at a cosy 25C, I've decided to trust it with my babies.
