I collected this Cribraria species yesterday after watching it mature over the past ten days. It first appeared as a grey plasmodium that oozed out of a large bryophyte-covered log. They grey amorphous blobs gradually formed spherical 'beads' that turned from slate grey to blue and then yellowish as the spores developed and dried out. I haven't yet attempted to identify the species as Cribrarias have the reputation of being one of the most difficult of all the genera.
