0042 Paradiacheopsis solitria

This is the first and the only fruit body present to date, in a Flowering dogwood bark culture that began back on the 6th of November 2019, over a period of 20 days. As for size of the fruit body, the photograph was taken at 100x with a Zeiss Axiostar Plus TLM using overhead LED lighting and probably just under 1 mm, guessing. The fruit body was barely visible at 7x through a Meiji EMZ-8TRH dissecting microscope, so a good Hastings 10x hand lens would also show it well. As for the naked eye, one would have to have exceptional vision. At first I thought this to be a species of Cribraria. Corticolous myxomycetes are very small which sometimes makes them hard to identify.
