First timer in the slime mould department

Hello all,I'm trying to grow my first Physarum, and it's been in the dish for about a week and a half now, but not much has changed since about day 2. I'm not seeing it create any of the nice tendrils that are associated with Physarum :( it's been a little cold here (zone 5b) but it's kept inside in a dark drawer. Is my slime dead? Any help or resources would be greatly appreciated!thanks,NickSee More

What is your interest in slime moulds? (we need to know you're not a bot or spamster)
Mainly how they communicate. I'm a computer science major and Musician/Artist so I'm very interested in seeing how to incorporate the three
