The Slime Mould Collective

Since they are amoebae capable of sporulation, they are considered primitive slime molds. They are usually found fruiting on decaying organic matter, rotten leaves, grass, twigs, wood and bark for example. All species are microscopic and a microscope capable of resolving fine detail is needed.
