September 2018. An extensive colony of tiny (1 mm high) sporangia (possibly a Macbrideola sp.) appeared mostly on the dead fronds of a ground cover fern but also on nearby leaf litter. These two sporangia were on the sporangia of a Trichia - and both were on a twig.
