Hello! I'm not sure if anyone will actually see this haha, but I am currently working on a little project and have been having some trouble getting mazes for some tests I want to run.
I have tried to make some myself (out of hot glue and also plasticine) which, as expected, was a fruitless venture... lol
I was wondering, if anyone saw this, if I could get some advice on making a maze that the slime mould won't climb over and would preferably (not essential) fit inside an (I believe standard size) petri dish. I would also be willing to purchase them if anyone knows where to find them for sale.
There's probably a lot that I haven't tried or considered, but I just wanted to see if anyone had some tips or sites, etc because I would like to get this done soon (hopefully within the next 2 weeks, but the timeframe isn't too important right now)
Thank you for reading/any advice!!

Hi,
In case it's not too late, I have a 3d printer so if you have a specific 3d model of a maze I can print it and send it by post.
Cheers

Hello G,
I’m starting to plan an experiment where I will be working with slime mold and mazes, and i ran into the same problem as you. I’ve seen that most of the people that have use mazes on their experiment 3D printed them out, but that unfortunately it isn’t an option for me so i had the idea of buying one of those plastic mazes for kids that have a little ball inside and open them up and just use the side of the maze, I’m not sure if is going to work but i will let you know when i try it out.
Hope that helps!
