Physarum - DiI stained fluoresence

Physarum fed on DiI ( Lifetechnologies ) treated oats viewed in Epifluoresence. 200ms per frame played at 20fps. No branding or music as this was shot on work equipment - Di I is lipid soluble so targets cells membranes. I loaded a piece of inoculated oat into one of my slide chambers with a piece of dyes out and let the physarum feed. It's illuminated with light around 561nm and fluorescence is viewed with a red filter.
Our photophobic little chum doesn't appreciate bright illumination so what we have is a video of it retreating from the light source.
