research into slime mold movement/learning- where to start?

hi everyone!

a friend and i are making a video game with a slime mold main character, and i was wondering if there were any specific papers that could help us learn more about what slime molds like/dislike, what harms them, how they move/learn, etc. we're really just looking for basic information so we don't make a slime mold that has mechanics that don't make sense for slime molds, haha
