Physarum rigidum defeated the mold (which is usually relatively rare).

This set of images was taken in 2022 by one of our team members. It shows a slime mold feeding on mold (growing on decaying oat flakes) and digesting it normally—remarkably, without any sign of avoidance or retreat. This may be because the mold had not yet produced many harmful metabolites, or because some favourable conditions allowed the interaction to occur. Whatever the reason, it demonstrates that slime molds can indeed defeat mold.
