What is your interest in slime moulds? (we need to know you're not a bot or spamster)
We are Biological Physicists interested in Physarum motility and structure formation as it forages via its extended transport network. We also look at active movement in mouse fibroblast cells.
I saw your beautiful picture "Physarum Polycephalum on Agar". I was wondering what kind of agar did you use in this picture?
Normally people have to put oats in the agar plate, but in this picture it seems nutrition mixed with the agar is decent for the growth. In our experiment, we'd rather not use oat because it will block/affect the shape.
