The Slime Mould Collective

An international network of/for intelligent organisms

I'm looking at devising some sessions for people with visual difficulties.

I've found a slime grown on thin card bakes nicely at 100C to leave a tactile surface - even better if it's fixed in alum first. A spray of shellac on that and it might just be durable - giving me a way to hand out maps and mazes. I'm experimenting with reinforcing routes on maps by removing old food and replacing it with fresh to pump the veins up a bit.

Time lapses I reckon I can manage on a 3d printer - printing each time point photograph as a layer to make a sort of carrot shaped slime mould cone ( course I'd better fix the printer first ).

Any other suggestions for expanding the reach of the slimy tendrils of engagement?
