How much water does a slime mould drink in an average day? I am preparing to have it since it will arrive in 5 days.

Probably no more than a few drops. I spray and drain off the excess water once every one or 2 days. Distilled or spring water is best, but tap water will probably work.

I haven't given them water.
I just let them start in a moist environment. (for example on agar) And I cover the containers with some kitchen foil.

They are pretty tough, As long it's not dry or flooded, it should be fine.
