Got an email from Ian as follows:

Hello everyone,

We’ve had a bit of a surge in membership recently which is fantastic but makes me wonder if I’ve missed something on TV about our liquid yellow chums. It’d be great if our newcomers could post up an intro and tell us something about what they’re doing with slime molds.

If anyone’s around Birmingham ( Uk ) next week, I’ll be at the Big Bang Fair ( huge science fair for kids ) at the NEC running one of the Warwick University stands on guess what – Physarum. I’ve been raising sclerotia since November so we have a few thousand to give away.  If you’re coming ( I know a couple of you are ) or just in the area and fancy meeting up, give me a shout.
